Girly Date Night Outfit

Last weekend I went to Hakkasan out in San Francisco. The food was amazing...and quite expensive, especially for this preschool teacher! Everything was so delicious my mouth told me to eat more, but my stomach was going to explode! One of the best meals I've ever had.

I didn't know how everyone else was going to dress, so I went with a skirt and small heels. I felt very girly in my outfit that night!

First Impression: Tarte Eye Primer

I'm always on the hunt for a good eye shadow primer. As someone with very oily skin, if I just put eye shadow on without a primer it's creased in 15 minutes. Even with some primers it's creased in an hour and I just spent all that time doing my make-up for nothing. I usually use Urban Decay's Primer Potion, but I heard about Tarte's and decided to give it a try. I must say, it's as good as Urban Decay's, if not better. I put my eye shadow on during the day and it lasted a good 10-11 hours into the night until it creased. I just squirt a little dab on my finger and apply it until I have a nice layer covering my eyelid. I wait between 3-5 minutes to apply my eye shadow to make sure that it is completely dry before I get to work. If you are in an eye primer rut I would totally recommend this product. I was very pleasantly surprised!

Weird Purses You Must Have

I'm obsessed with purses. It's getting to be quite a problem. I could easily spend hundreds on a purse, but won't spend over $40 on a sweater. On my hunt for different purses I've found quite a few that I need to add to my collection. I love how different these are, and are also perfect conversation starters. Here are some of my favorites!

Weekly Target Appreciation Post

Ok friends, I have a confession...I'm obsessed with Target. Well, I guess you already knew that...but saying it out loud is the first step to recovery right?

I try to go to Target at least once a week. Shopping at Target after a long day of work with a Starbucks in hand can cure just about any problem...I'm sure of it. On these weekly Target trips I think, ponder, and retail therapy myself into a happy Target drunkenness. I head home with a bag filled with things I don't need and a huge smile on my face. (wow I really do have a problem) Well friends, I think this will be my first Target Appreciation Post where I will list all the wonderful magical things I bought at Target for the week. I'm actually quite proud and only bought 2 items, but might I say they both are pretty great.

First up, a doughnut sweater. I mean...why wouldn't you want a doughnut sweater? This was priced at $22.99

The other item...or should I say items...I bought were mini party hats from the Oh Joy! collection. ($5 for a pack of 8 hats) They are so cute and fit perfectly on my little head. Be ready friends, on my next birthday I'm breaking these suckers out for a night on the town!

Allow myself to introduce...myself.

Well hello there! And thank you for stumbling across my little space on the internet. I guess I started this little blog because I read so many great fashion/lifestyle blogs and watch so many YouTube beauty videos that inspire me daily. These bloggers before me have inspired me and so many other girls, that I would love to give back in some small tiny way. So I'm going to give this whole blogging thing a try.
