DIY Minnie Ears

I'll admit, I'm not much of a crafter. I always get great ideas, and then get super frustrated when they don't turn out how I wanted. On this lazy Sunday I tried to make Minnie Mouse ears...and I actually like how they turned out! I'm SO happy with the finished product! I actually made these ears for my cousin's bridal shower. It's Disney themed, and purple and gold are her wedding colors! I hope she likes them!

Next I'm going to make flowered Minnie Ears! If those come out nice, I might feel an Etsy shop coming soon! ;)

Would you buy ears? Want a tutorial? Already make your own? I would love to see!

Draco Malfoy Wants Me

Well I wish he did...but this is pretty close! Growing up I've always had a huge crush on the actor Tom Felton who plays Draco Malfoy in all the Harry Potter movies. My friend went to a comic book convention last weekend and met Tom! He had him sign this shirt that reads,"To Jennifer, May I Slytherin your Gryffindor? Love Tom Felton"

I freaked out. I love Harry Potter. I love Harry Potter pick up lines. And I love Tom Felton.

I can never top this gift.

So in conclusion, Draco Malfoy totally wants me ;)

I have no choice but to be a loyal Slytherin now!

Girly Date Night Outfit

Last weekend I went to Hakkasan out in San Francisco. The food was amazing...and quite expensive, especially for this preschool teacher! Everything was so delicious my mouth told me to eat more, but my stomach was going to explode! One of the best meals I've ever had.

I didn't know how everyone else was going to dress, so I went with a skirt and small heels. I felt very girly in my outfit that night!

Skirt: Forever 21
Black shirt: Target
Necklace: Nordstrom

Purse: Kate Spade

An American Girl in London Pt. 2!

Here are some more pics from my amazing trip to jolly old London!

Our day started off with coffee of course! We found this cute little hole in the wall coffee spot. It was amazing!

In this cafe there was a cat named Bob. Bob is a girl. As a crazy cat lady I instantly fell in love with little Bob.

As we walked from the cafe to the tube station we came across this awesome tunnel with graffiti all over it! It was such a neat little find. There were even artists spray painting as we were walking through! Later on I googled it and found that it's called Leake Street, a little spot that the famous graffiti artist Banksy set up for artists to do their work! So happy we found this little gem.

Then we went and visited the Queen! I tried calling for Prince Harry, but he didn't come out to marry me...

We also did some shopping and I stumbled across a Johnny Cupcakes store! This is one of my favorite brands, so you can only imagine my excitement!

 Then we had more coffee...

Yup, they really do say it...

Next was Harrods. My mind was blown when walking into Harrods. It was a department store on crack. With over a million square feet of shopping space I didn't even know where to begin...so we began where any girl should begin...

SHOE HEAVEN! Yes, the top floor was called shoe heaven. I literally thought I died and went to heaven.

In the kids section in Harrods they had a Disney cafe. Look how stinking cute it is!

And I lived happily ever after in Harrods.
