Just A Reminder...

I've been in a life rut lately. For example, I haven't been looking forward to going to work in the mornings. I sent in a resume and never got a call. I'm too lazy to wear cute clothes, so jeans and sweaters have been my go to. I can't think of anything fun to blog about. In all honesty I just don't feel like myself.

For Valentines Day my date and I went to this bar in San Francisco and this sign was above the bar. It was a wake up call of sorts to stop being lazy and get back to my go getting self. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, so hopefully things will look up soon. I'll be leaving for Europe in a little over a week, so I'm hoping to come back inspired and refreshed for a new chapter in my life.

Current life goals:
Shop for Europe
Pack for Europe
Find Inspiration
Be Amazing

A Single Girls Guide To Valentines Day

Hello my single darlings!

I've been single on Valentines Day more times than I can count. I've spent many Valentines Days avoiding the world and hibernating in my house until all the mushy lovey dovey couples were nowhere to be seen. Lets be serious, no matter what anyone says, being single on Valentines Day sucks. It sucks real bad. BUT just try to make the most of it. Here are some ideas of what to do if you're a single lady on Valentines Day.

Sleep in as late as you possibly can. Try to waste as much of this day in bed as possible.

Next, go see 50 Shades of Grey. I can guarantee you most of the girls in there will be single. Plus, it's dark in the theater so if there is a mushy couple in there, you won't have to see them snogging.

After the movie you should go shopping...why? Because shopping will always make you feel better. And hopefully all the lovey couples will be off doing something a lot more romantic than shopping.

After buying some super new cute stuff go get yourself some take out from your favorite restaurant. DO NOT I repeat, DO NOT eat at the restaurant. Love will be in the air...you don't need to see that.

After getting yourself your favorite dinner, come home and eat it while watching (500) Days of Summer. This is my all time favorite movie ever. After every break up I would watch this movie for a full week straight until I felt better. If you've never seen this movie...I suggest you watch it ASAP. Especially if you're single.

Then watch some T.V. or YouTube videos, read a book, or eat some ice cream until you fall asleep. Congratulations single girl, you made it through Valentines Day.

What are you going to do this Valentines Day?
Love you guys SO much! And thank you for reading!

Netflix Tag!

I've been pretty sick for about 2 weeks now. My runny nose won't give up, and my cough sounds like I'm an old chain smoker. But thank goodness I'm finally starting to feel a lot better! I came across this tag on other blogs and thought it would be perfect to do because Netflix has become my best friend over these past couple weeks sick in bed. So here we go!

1. What are your favorite series to watch on Netflix?
Oh man, there are so many! I would have to go with Friends, Gossip Girl, and How I Met Your Mother as my top 3.

2. What are you currently watching on Netflix?
I'm actually currently watching HIMYM! I'm about to start season 4! It's SO addicting! But I've heard the ending sucks :(

3. If you could have any series, old or new put on Netflix, what would it be?
I would love to watch Laguna Beach again. That was my favorite show growing up!

4. What is your one peeve about Netflix?
I don't really have one! Maybe having some old shows from my childhood on there would be cool?

5. What are your essentials for a perfect Netflix night?
My bed, Starbucks, lots and lots of blankets!

6. Recommend one series or film for someone on Netflix.
I'm a huge documentary fan. If you're into street art, I would recommend Banksy's film Exit Through The Gift Shop. It's super interesting!

What are your favorites on Netflix?
